pumpkin fun

Today we carved a pumpkin. I was a little apprehensive at first because last year A just thought the whole thing was disgusting BUT, as usual, she surprised me.
Her Tia Gayla found this carving kit with templates and it's pretty much the sweetest thing ever. I'm super excited about how well it turned out, A just thinks it's pretty cool we can stick things in it. Haha I love her so much! <3

Five Months Already!!

On the 12th my boys will be five months old already! I know people are always saying how fast time goes but it has seriously gone by so fast! We are now eating oatmeal, rice, squash, peas, and green beans. We're not too sure about sweet potatoes though. They are both laughing a lot, K more than R. I think that's just part of R's personality though, a little more serious and feisty. When we upset him he gives us long speeches, it's the cutest thing.
Their nurse came to visit and they're pretty much doing everything on time, they hadn't rolled over then but they have now so we're up to date so far. Hopefully it stays that way! (:

Besides the difference in personalities, K still has more hair than R and it looks quite a bit curlier but that could change. K is about half an inch taller, R weighs a few more ounces but he looks way bigger. They both "talk" a lot and they have certain shows they really pay attention to. K still has GERD which has been a pain but starting solids has really helped. We'll be changing his medications soon and hopefully he'll be feeling much better soon!

Candy houses!

I love love love love love October! Apparently it's going to rub off on the kids.. Okay, I may or may not be doing that on purpose but whatever. I'm almost done making costumes, I'm so excited because this Halloween A will actually be able to trick or treat. At least a few houses, I think. I'm pretty sure it'll snow so we'll see how things go.
She became a little addict after this, I think this might be the first time she's ever had candies so she kind of attacked it. Haha but it was fun and she was pretty excited about it.

Haircut time!

A inherited my awesome mullet-growing genes, so I finally decided I couldn't handle it anymore and baby girl needed a haircut. She actually sat through it I'm pretty impressed. She looks so cute :D

21 months old.

My baby girl will be 21 months old on the eleventh. 21! Only three months away from being two! I'm freaking out a little here.
She's a little monster sometimes but I honestly can't imagine her any other way. I'm so proud of her and the person she is becoming. As sad as I am about her not being a baby anymore I'm so excited about being able to share new experiences with her. We got our first big girl panties, they're Hello Kitty! She likes showing those off a little too much but I'm sure that will pass.
She is talking ALL THE TIME and gets pretty bossy but that runs on both sides so, can't really expect any different. She's so good to her brothers (90% of the time) and wants to "hod" (hold) them all the time.

ALWAYS wants to "eat, food, yeah?" Always. I don't know where she's keeping any of it because we are still at 20.5 lbs but this girl can out eat anyone.
My little geisha. Her Tia Gayla got this for her she loves how silky it feels.

She thinks she needs to be a part of everything! Cooking included. (:

Love love loves to "holla" with crayons, chalk, whatever. She isn't very picky.

Yes, that's lipstick and her hair is curled (she calls all irons "hot"). She also likes having her "feet" done haha. Sorry daddy, she's a girly-girl after all.

I know every parent says their kid is smart but seriously, my daughter is really smart. She got her daddy's old iPhone and is always on YouTube listening to Charice's cover of "Baby". Yeah, THAT obsession has gotten way out of control.

Matt and Kellie's wedding.

August 28 was Matt and Kellie's wedding. I haven't known Matt or Kelli very long but they're so perfect for each other. He's in the army, and while deployed got seriously injured last year. Kellie dropped everything to move to DC and take care of him. That's obviously the very, very short version but still such a great love story and I'm a sap so.. there you go.
G was Matt's best man, so I finally got to see him in a tux. (: I didn't take pictures while I was there but hopefully some come up soon.
They were married in Tsaile (which is on the Navajo Reservation) and it was so nice to see where G grew up. It's beautiful out there.
It was our first trip since the boys were born and I think it went pretty well. It was a lot of fun and now when G tells me stories I can kind of picture it. (:
My studs.

She had a blast in the hotel.. We stayed in Gallup, NM which is about two hours away? It worked out better for the kids because four hours in a car is way too long. I lose major mommy points because I never got a picture of her in her dress?! But this is cute.. Plus, she totally looks like a power ranger.

And here's some of Matt and G.
